Cruise #2: The Oberoi Zahra

If what you want more than all else is space—like, lots of it—check this one out. This cruise really takes the luxury part pretty seriously and it can almost show in all of its suites that appear like they may as well be floating hotels. As I was saying, each has pretty decent windows to really capture a great view as it travels.

There were, in a way, a good amount of dining options from fancy spots that were for people like us who are hungry, but even informal places that could pretty much satiate anyone’s palette. It makes eating something enjoyable. This one seemed more chill than a couple others, which I kinda loved because there’s this really incredible library, a smoking lounge, and even a movie spot, very awesome if you love relaxing at nighttime.

Something that did bug me was how pricey extras appeared to be. Things that other boats include, such as drinks and particular tours, will cost extra here. It is nice though if it fits your travel expectations, anyway.

Cruise #3: The Movenpick Royal Lily

That Movenpick Royal Lily seems to make a decent case for itself for folks that want a mix of comfort with pretty good cost. That one feels updated and tends to come with these cabins that happen to be decent without costing too much, and they’ve still got places to get a bit of sun or cool down after traipsing around in that crazy Egyptian heat.

One thing about Movenpick is their food—consistently fairly good for what you end up paying. There is a big buffet and restaurants that attempt different sorts of meals. What I found to be one of their downfalls, for lack of better words, is that a couple of spots in the boat could stand for something of a “redo.” As a matter of fact, it seems as if other boats stay a bit newer and more snazzy looking overall, you know? Despite that small fault, I will give it a high overall value score.

Cruise #4: The Steigenberger Minerva

That Steigenberger Minerva comes off like one of those trustworthy choices for people watching out for the dollars, that one will not break the bank and it even includes things! Although, the feel will be a bit basic, that one still offers these nice rooms, a sun deck and, apparently, cool times at nighttime to really relax following hours walking around looking at old-looking artifacts. That’s really crucial during these journeys.

That crew really is warm and seems to aim to do what they’re supposed to do, although they won’t really treat you as if you’re a king/queen like you would on that Sonesta or some fancy option. It really might come down to this when choosing: If having everything go smoothly and sticking with a cheaper choice looks appealing it’s almost hard to argue with this cruise option.

Cruise #5: The Grand Princess Nile Cruise

On the topic of lower budget options comes the Grand Princess Cruise, that does happen to aim at making something pretty budget-friendly still with some enjoyment, it seems. A few might be surprised by a few older fixtures inside, but this might still tick that check box if you’re mostly attempting to see everything.
