Ted Lasso Tour of Richmond: Top 5 Spots for Devotees

Ted Lasso Richmond Tour

Right, so you’re keen to experience Richmond, the almost-storybook setting of the beloved series “Ted Lasso,” right? That’s a good shout. Loads of folks who find the show ever so heart-warming have that urge, too. Lucky for you, seeing these spots is actually possible and pretty awesome, very. It really gives you a new view on some well-known spots. And as you probably guessed, a guided Ted Lasso Tour really brings these locations to life.

1. The Crown & Anchor Pub (The Prince’s Head)

The Prince's Head Pub Richmond

First stop, right? The fictional “Crown & Anchor” is, that is, actually a real pub named The Prince’s Head. The interior and exterior get a face lift on the show, so you see it when Ted, that ever so optimistic coach, hangs out with the locals, really. You are able to find it at 28 The Green, Richmond TW9 1LX, more or less. Fancy seeing Mae, Tom, and Baz, eh? Well, although the familiar faces aren’t part of the everyday set up, the vibe is something you definitely can drink in, apparently. Fancy grabbing a pint, just a little? So pop along to The Prince’s Head and see if you recognize it.

2. Ted Lasso’s Apartment (Paved Court)

Next up is Ted’s humble abode, sort of, that you might have spotted a few times on screen. His apartment is supposedly just off Richmond Green on a super cute street called Paved Court, alright? Just so you know, the exact apartment is obviously private, that’s fair, and not open for view, but it’s ever so worth a wander along the street to soak in the atmosphere, right? Imagine the location scouts checking out what the apartment should look like; I wonder what went into their vision, anyway. Oh, and just remember when passing along this location: be considerate, of course. Ted probably would like that you were courteous when remembering his time, right?

3. Richmond Green

Alright, Richmond Green, too it’s almost, acts a picturesque backdrop to so many scenes. That is such a common location to a ton of filming on location work. Located near Ted’s apartment and The Prince’s Head, it really does add to the folksy appeal that Richmond has on display, obviously. It provides such a sense of what London community looks like in real time, which, so, brings so much authenticity. Loads of residents are always there too, but not to worry: The pitch isn’t exactly there; you could wander it to be like Ted walking along, right? I have no doubt, arguably, that someone may pass a soccer ball.

4. Richmond Bridge

Richmond Bridge also shows up, you know, every now and then in the show. It adds to Richmond’s loveliness with some class, in some respects. The bridge crosses the Thames, a little. Maybe consider getting that great photo that is almost essential for tourism. If you don’t you might think: That would have been wonderful. Well, I’m going to bring up Richmond, it’s gorgeous so consider spending some time by Richmond Bridge in the city, alright?

5. Old Palace Lane

Oh, yeah, let’s not pass over the tiny, cozy lanes of Richmond. Now those will charm you in very specific ways, apparently. Old Palace Lane, alright? A lot of folks on the guided visits say this stands out as a top favorite. What that does is really bring some new things forward for people looking for it. The houses seem to transport people, you know, back in time, very. And just to think that’s there; imagine how many other neat sites there may be, right? This looks different than Ted’s street and that also matters.
